Well, a lot has happened in the last 6 months., Ryland just turned 1, he had his first cupcake. He thought and stared for a few minutes at it before he did anything. Also, we are now living in the NW, definitely a change from the Midwest and a new season of growing more and more in the Lord. Jesus is amazing! Michael and I have had ups and downs, but we are coming out the other side better and in LOVE. Thankful for that!

I have great expectations for the coming year, my goal is to have the knowledge to start Homeschooling by the summer for Makkale . Vision is the one thing we are going after and need!

My son is Mr. Instant Replay

I was laughing at my son Makkale, who is 4, yesterday we were playing with one of those huge bouncy balls. We were throwing it back and forth, bouncing it off things and every time I would throw to him, he would act so silly and then do exactly what he just did again to show me. Hilarious! I love my son so much and he was so proud of himself for showing the exact way him caught the ball and didn’t catch the ball.

Also, my other son Ryland is pushing through his first tooth! Fun times!

Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.
Words are so powerful and I have been challenged to encourage my husband more! Getting married and having children really help you deal with issues of your heart. Wow, there is some ugly things in there. I really don’t want those things in my heart to affect what comes out of my mouth! My challenge today is to encourage, not to speak down to people, not to talk about people and to lift up and build up those around me.

Michael and I are celebrating 5 years of marriage today. The funny thing is we are in tow different cities: I am in Spokane and he is in Seattle, WA. So we were talking on Facebook, funny I thought. He was making comments through our conversation like, hot mama, you are so sexy and I love the way you are so good. I think sometimes I get annoyed with him and want to trust him more in our lives, but when he is away I become a different person. I start thinking of him in all the good ways I should think when he is around me. Today, I was like I could use an extra hand, Michael is that extra hand. I miss just talking to him, I want to know what is going on with him at all times, I am interested. I feel lost if he is not here, i.e. who do I ask for advice, who do I look at to lift me up and I am short so I always need someone taller! Anyways, I love him! Help me, Lord to love my husband the way he needs me to love him and not the way I think I need to. Help me to always speak highly of him at all times, even in thought. Thank you for my husband!
